Home Foot Spa

Don’t worry, I’m not going to suggest one of those big machines that give great foot massages but that takes a lot of space in your house and you rarely use them. Maybe while it’s new, but then you just can’t bother.

I want to tell you about the simple and practical things I do to take care of my feet and that you can also apply to your care routine. Because let’s be honest, our feet go through a lot. Whether it’s heels, flat shoes that are just too flat, working hours, hot weather, cold weather and just standing has an impact on our feet.

It’s important to take care of them and to do it frequently. Here’s what I do:

Once a month – I use a pumice stone and sometimes a foot brush to gently exfoliate my feet, at least once a month. If I have the time to do it more frequently I do, but this helps to remove all the dead skin and leave your feet feeling extremely soft.

Once a week – I use foot socks to deeply moisturise the skin. I’ve recently been using the ones from Superdrug. My favourite is the one with enriched with Tea Tree, Peppermint and Vitamin E. I’m also a big fan of the honey and almond one. These help to soothe and soften dry, rough and cracked heels. After using them I always feel like I’m walking on clouds. You can get them here – https://www.superdrug.com/search?q=foot+socks%3Arelevance%3Abrand%3A418065&text=foot+socks&minSel=1.0&maxSel=10.0&minSlider=1.0&maxSlider=10.0&resultsForPage=20&sort=relevance&brand418065=on

Daily – I make sure I go for daily walks because this helps with blood circulation, not only in my feet but also my legs. I also make sure they get enough rest when I get home and that I’m barefoot as much as possible. If it’s cold, just wear socks! Make sure your feet aren’t stuck inside your shoes for too many hours because this will affect them in the long run.

Naturally White | Billion Dollar Smile

I had the opportunity to test another teeth whitening product with natural ingredients.

We all know how this industry is full of products that say that they do what they don’t, so I believe it’s quite important that I share on the blog the successful experiences.

So, I’ve tried Billion Dollar Smile’s whitening polish toothbrush and it was an amazing finding, formulated by dentists and made in the UK, that I had to introduce to you.

The toothpaste consists of a blend of natural coconut oil, which we all know I love, Charcoal and Pineapple Enzyme, which naturally polishes and makes our teeth naturally become more white.

I’ve been using it every day in place of any regular toothpaste, so it doesn’t take any not extra time on my daily routine. Also, my boyfriend decided to use it too and he’s not even a fan of coconut oil!

I love the fact that it’s packed with natural ingredients and no nasty parabens.

If you want to give it a try, go check the entire range at Superdrug.com where you can save 1/3 of the price.

Whiten Your Teeth Naturally & Safely|Anatomicals

There’s nothing more exciting than trying new products, especially when these actually work and the changes are visible.

Anatomicals recently launched their amazing toothbrushes with binchotan charcoal. They basically blended charcoal in each bristle of the toothbrush, which has a powerful deodorizing effect to remove plaque, fight bad breath and prevent harmful bacteria from growing in the brush.

I’ve started using it a month ago and I can already see a difference in colour on my teeth. It also helped the fact that I’ve started using their spearmint flavoured toothpaste with baking soda to clean and brighten teeth.

This toothpaste features a special formulation that contains no peroxides, parabens or fluoride.

So basically I was able to get whiter teeth without having to use anything artificial and without getting out of my daily routine. I brush my teeth at least twice a day and preferably after every meal, so it doesn’t take a lot of time on your day to have healthier teeth.

And please remember that having whiter teeth doesn’t mean they’re healthier. Sometimes that is your original teeth colour and your teeth are perfectly healthy, so try to avoid using random products and go for natural ones. You can also give up on coffee, good luck with that!
