Taking care of your skin should be one of your priorities and the earlier you start the better. Here are a few ways to do it and protect your skin in the long-run:
Always wash your hands before you wash your face
Make sure that your hands are truly clean before washing your face, otherwise, any bacteria or other things on your hands get rubbed all over your face, which can cause your skin to breakout.
Don’t wear too much make up
Women in their 20s likely don’t need to overdo it. Keeping it simple makes it quicker to get out the door in the morning and easier to remove it before going to bed. You can always use special occasions to wear more make up.
Take off your make up before bed
No matter how tired you might be, take all of your makeup off your face before climbing into bed.
Invest in good skincare products
Great skincare products are not something only older people use; starting early is a good way to prevent skin flaws rather than trying to simply address them after they’ve already appeared. The question is always – What products are ideal for my skin type? I’ve used Esse skincare website to find out what are the best ones for me and after ordering them and using them for a few weeks now, I can say the results are very satisfying. Using the right products on your skin make such a difference. Do you test here too – https://www.esseskincare.com/personalised-routine
Drink plenty of water
Drinking water can make a noticeable difference in the look, feel, and health of your skin.
Eating healthy, whole foods, or so-called “clean” eating, can make a big impact on the health and appearance of your skin.
Read the ingredients on your skincare products
Learn to read the ingredients on your skincare products because much of what you apply on your skin goes into your bloodstream. I know for example that the skincare products I got from Esse are organic, vegan and cruelty-free. They create an environment on the skin that favours the growth of beneficial microbes. It uses prebiotics to selectively feed good microbes and includes LIVE probiotic microbes in two of the serums to make functional changes to the skin’s microbiome. Esse does not believe in damaging skin in pursuit of short-term results, it optimises skin health to slow ageing in the long-term.
Skin cell regeneration is most active between 11 p.m. and 4 a.m. so it’s important to get your eight hours (or so) to wake up feeling energized, happy, and healthy.
One of the best things you can do for your skin is to wear sunscreen whenever you’re going to spend any time outside.
The first signs of ageing you can see is usually around your eyes, where the skin is thinner and more delicate, so it’s important to wear sunglasses with wider sides to protect the eye area from all angles of the sun.
