Bucharest| Simbio Kitchen Bar

It’s my last day in Bucharest. My feet hurt so much that I stopped feeling them. Weird, I know. But I still have so many places to visit and so little time. I guess I’ll have to come back sooner than I thought.

I couldn’t leave without trying Simbio Kitchen Bar. It has been on my list since day one and it’s so well-known to the locals that I tried to have lunch here on my first days in the city but it was completely full!

This time we got a table and a well-deserved  and delicious meal after so much walking around! My friend and I were so tired that we didn’t even “google-translated” the ingredients on our burgers. We just ordered them and called them “surprise burgers”. Yes, that’s how exhausted we were!

My burger had avocado and goat cheese, which I have to say that for me that’s already a winner! My friend Charis went for something more sweet with caramelized onions. They were both great and enormous!

If you are wondering where is that beautiful designed water bottle from the photographs, I can tell you it’s inside my fridge here in England. No, I didn’t steal it, I kindly asked for it and the waiter said yes with a big smile, just like all the locals we encountered during this amazing trip!
