Go nuts for Coconut Oil| Beauty uses

A month ago I decided to replace most of my beauty products for virgin coconut oil. And here are the reasons why:

  • Hair: After washing my hair I like to apply coconut oil to any dry hair tips to prevent breakage and split ends, and it also helps my hair grow faster and shinier.
  • Body moisturizer: Before going to bed, I like to apply coconut oil as a body moisturizer because it keeps my skin hydrated during the night and the smell is very relaxing which helps me fell asleep quicker. It also helps with any stretch marks and cellulite.
  • Face moisturizer: On my previous post “Face Cleasing for the lazy ones” I explained how I replaced my night cream moisturizer for coconut oil. You don’t need to apply a lot of it, especially if your skin is already too oily. While we are asleep, our skin rejuvenates naturally and coconut oil helps removing any dead skin cells.
  • Lips: Keeping your lips hydrated is as much important as keeping your skin hydrated. If you combine 1 teaspoon of sea salt with 1 teaspoon of coconut oil into a bowl. Dab the mixture all over your lips, then scrub gently with your fingers in a small circular motion, in less than a minute you will feel your lips feeling smooth.

You can buy a jar of 453g at Holland & Barrett and that lasts for a whole month.

Of course I also use this oil for different types of face and hair masks, I’ve been sharing the recipes on the blog! So make sure you follow Tiger on a Gold Leash Facebook page or Instagram to not miss any of these pearls!
